Parent Advisor Meeting

Last night I met with the Parent Advisory Committee to review results of the carnival and to read teacher classroom enhancement grants.  Most grants were approved and others were determined to have a different funding source.  Here is the spreadsheet of proposals and actions.

In addition to these, I brought quotes for other technology.  They selected to fund three projectors and Mimio systems to install in the modular classrooms.  They will also buy 10 Apple TV units to begin use in the school.  This can be expanded as teachers use on a regular basis.  We can continue to use our Students Come First Technology allotments to add student iPads and Apple TV devices as needed. 

P.S.  This morning I met with two potential Eagle Scouts on projects.  They are going to tackle more of our playground issues.  I am under the belief that Tyson Legg is still going to complete the planters on the west end of the building.  He didn't complete this last summer so hopefully this year.  During our safety inspection we got dinged for not enough space and fill around our playground equipment.  These will be redone this summer and possibly some work on our baseball fields.
