As the school year wound down, the PTA began looking for ways that we could better serve you in the future. One project we are working on is gathering a supply "wish list" from you as teachers and then making this list available to parents so we all can better share resources. Some items that you may be interested in having in your classroom could very well be things that parents already have in their houses and no longer need (DVD players, magazines, throw pillows, etc.) or they could be items that someone would like to purchase. Either way, knowing what the needs are is the critical first step.
We would like to start gathering requests now and continue to do so before and during the next school year. We will be sharing this list on the PTA website and at school events like Open House.
Please send your requests as soon as you are able to the PTA at hobson406@yahoo.com. If you could label the email "supply wish-list" or something similar that will definitely help me identify the incoming emails. Also, please make sure you include your name in the email and your request is as specific as possible.
