Report Cards

I have printed the report cards but there are a few errors that need some attention.  If you read this on Monday you may be able to fix yours while we have second quarter access.  Most issues are in the areas of reading fluency or health grades.  Reading fluency and "reads on grade level" averaged somehow into semester and end of year grades.  Teachers had rights to input the correct response in the semester column; I can not.  For now we will have the office use white out on the copies we will send home later this week.

Health grades should have been put into the quarter and semester column - NOT as an event.  Many are posted blank.  We can write them in, but the problem is that future report cards will also be incorrect since we don't have access to previous quarters.  It is important this quarter for you to remember to post these areas accurately. 

Report cards are posted to Family Access.  If you send notes home or communicate with parents, please let them know to expect report cards to be sent home Friday, but they can view and print them now.  If they do not have Internet access they can use the computer in the lobby by Lisa's office.
