Doug Foote, Middleton American Legion Post 39 Commander, called and offered to send representatives if you need guest speakers for Veterans' Day. Next Thursday we will meet at the flag pole at 11AM to recite the pledge and sing the National Anthem as a school. It was the eleventh month, eleventh day and the eleventh hour that is considered the end of "The war to end all wars". Please plan to have your class out just before 11:00.
In case of inclement weather we will move to the gym.
Today is a little late to say this but, I watched the videos on the link and love two videos under the patriotic videos link. Be sure to watch "I fought for you" and "coming home" - Also, the tribute to war dogs is good and brings attention to a not very often mentioned hero.
