This will be a short update - what is most important is that you finish today strong and then take some time with your families to enjoy a Merry Christmas.  The gift giving these past few days has had a way of reminding us all what a wonderful feeling it is to give and to share in joy.  I wish you all true joy.

Today (Friday) is Tevin's last day at Heights.  He delayed his departure by a few months to stick things out in the best interest of "D" - plus he found he likes this kind of work.  Yet, the offer of five weeks in WARM New Zealand was too much of an incredible draw.  He leaves the day after Christmas.  As we say goodbye we also get to say hello to Paul.  Please help me welcome Paul who is transferring from ATLAS.  He will spend the day with us Friday and then full time starting in January.  Introduce yourself and warn him about the others.  :)

Lead teachers for the math unit studies should have received an email asking you to register for the next session.   Please select January 31st when completing the survey.  Please put the day in Skyward, but not Aesop.  Then talk to Lisa to find the best possible sub for you.

Report cards will be printed and put in your boxes Friday morning after attendance is complete.  Kindergarten - let us know if you need us to print for you or if you have that covered.

Cheryl sends out a special thank you to April and Stephanie Burke who were responsible for the idea and supply of the movie Gruffalo.  Nice pick.  Thank you ladies.
Thank you Darcy for helping set up projection and sound.  Thank you MMS for loaning us your bigger screen.
Thank you Cheryl for your lead on this project.
Thank you to all the happy hands that jumped in to help load all that food into a very small truck.

*Tomorrow I will add some of your 'puzzle' acknowledgments of others in the thank you section.  I left them at school - oops.

Merry Christmas to all -
