Scott is the first to step up and step out to observe in other classrooms. He would love to come watch some of his Vale colleagues and some boys classroom colleagues. Please welcome him and share your best stuff. :) Who else wants to go visiting??
Attached are the two documents that explain the program. We have a parent who would like to sponsor the program in our school. She is willing to teach it in classrooms in the spring. Check out the links and let me know if you are interested. She needs to order materials now to prepare. This is a no cost program. Welcome to Julie Booth. Julie has been a substitute in the district for several years and is now part of a job placement program that pays to have her work with us while we train her as an educational assistant. She will be here for about three months. Right now we have her scheduled to help with the Jump Start program, catching up on the copies and laminating and supporting first grade intervention with Scott. We do want to train her to do universal screeners and progress monitoring with fidelity also. Konnie and Dona arrive early each morning to help with copies. They are assigned to Title I and Special Education preparation FIRST and then other copies. I think Julie will be able to help us keep up by finishing projects once class starts.
