I've Got It, Now What Do I Do With It?

 

New technology professional development class

1 Credit through NNU - $60

This class is designed for those that want to use the technology in their classroom, but unsure of where to begin and don't want to ask because we think everyone else already knows what they are doing.  This course will easily adapt for those who are comfortable with technology but want an excuse to try some new stuff or solidify the old stuff.

 

 

The course begins on November 5th @ 4 - 5:30 PM in the Heights computer lab. 

This first class is the only required in person class.  (If you can't make it let us know and we can help you make up the time and get caught up.)  The six weeks following will have online course requirements to do at your pace and preferred time.  You can work in the middle of the night in your pajamas if you like.  We will also offer face to face support if an online course structure scares you.  If you are unsure you may attend Monday and register at then. 

The vision is to offer follow up credits in the spring and next year.  With the pace of technology changes and the addition of new ideas and websites this course can continue to evolve.
