School Levy - May 15th. We all need to work on this effort. I appreciate those that have been sharing thoughts with me.
- Jayna, shared an idea for getting Vision Charter on board. I passed this on to Rich.
- Kim, shared conversations she has had and what questions are being raised.
- The Q&A on the blog and in Rich's email should answer most questions. If you have to tell people you don't know the answer, either tell them to visit with me or tell them you will get the answer before getting back to them.
- Have you found any possible yes votes to add to the school list?
All ordering needs to be completed SOON. If there are items you NEED ordered for next year as a grade level, please get those submitted in the next two weeks, please.
The end of the year all staff meeting will be held Wednesday, May 9th @ 2:30 @ the Middle School. Please aim for 2:15 so that we are snacked and ready at 2:30.
The iPads have not been ordered yet. Other schools have decided to do similar plus more with the SCF money. The IT department has been working to get the best deal for bulk ordering. Then when they come, the IT department has to deal with each iPad. I am sorry that you do not have these for fourth quarter as we envisioned. Please be patient.
There is a possibility that the District will move to a different platform for our applications. One thing you should know is that the email account may change. This will affect you if accustomed to saving emails for future reference. If you have email content you don't think you could function without, begin thinking of sending yourself a backup to your personal account. :)
