This week is Blue Jean Friday. It is also class picture day. I don't really care for the thought of all the class pictures with teachers dressed in blue jeans. That is how they will always see their "third grade teacher". I requested to switch Fridays for jeans, but the District has had difficulty with teachers (other buildings) wearing jeans more than the designated days this year and they were not in favor of my switching just for our staff. So the results are either cancel blue jean Friday in our building (I know this would not be popular) or have you change to slacks for you picture. I am going to leave that up to you. Either don't wear jeans, or wear them as dressed up as possible and hopefully change or stand behind a student for the picture. Please.
The staff picture will be taken at the END of the day. We need everyone to come in from duty as soon as possible. "Left over kids" can be brought in a bit earlier or if we have substitutes that day we will ask them to stay out later. I don't know if we have a uniform shirt this year. If you have the blue golf shirt that would be great. If not, maybe a blue shirt.
