Jelena Update

Some knew, some did not...........

Jelena IS eight weeks pregnant.  YEA!!  Yesterday she experienced some complications and was able to see her doctor this afternoon.  The good news is that they were able to find a strong hearbeat and a healthy baby.  The bad news is that the gestational sac has pulled away from the uterus causing bleeding.  In 8 out of 10 cases the tear will heal itself.    Jelena is restricted to bed rest until the sac reattaches completely. Lisa was able to contact Terry Elwood who has agreed to cover in Jelena's absence, at least for two weeks and maybe longer.    The bedrest restriction states that Jelena can get up to eat and to use the bathroom.  Alex is in full coaching swing with basketball.  They could use some support with meals (evening with possible leftovers for Jelena's lunch).  Jelena does have an allergy to all dairy so she can not have cheese, milk, yogurt, etc.

• Sign up to help with a meal for the Maxwell's (Yvonne will start a list in the office)
