I mentioned printer costs last week but didn't know how to share the information without causing stress or embarrassment. I do want you to be aware of the cost differences though. These costs only reflect the printers in your rooms.  The costs to the copier are different.  I compiled numbers according to grade level combinations although I have the stats by room number.

K/1st (8 classes) =$53.81   

2nd /3rd (6 classes) =$73.39  

 4th /5th (5 classes) =$208.28

Kindergarten and first grade IRI testing will begin next week at Purple Sage.  As they complete a grade level there they will move on to Heights.  We need to have student labels marked and prepared.  if you have a student requires special testing considerations, please send me a quick email reminder. I have no specific target for second and third grade testing.  We will send email notification as they progress.

District wide grade level collaboration was rescheduled for next Wednesday.  Details are still sketchy, but plan to meet at your previous locations.  The majority of time will be spent in grade level groups determining necessary adjustments to report cards for next year.  Please plan to attend prepared to find consensus on things such as weighting of subject categories, wording, format, what to include on the report card.  As always it will be scheduled at the end of the day 2:45-3:45.

During collaboration many EAs along with Toni and Linda have spent the year doing their own action research and preparing to share their findings.  We will plan to meet in a celebration and share collaboration on May 18th.  Each team should be prepared to share a brief synopsis of their work and learning with others.  The following Wednesday will most likely be a District collaboration.
