Please parade your students past the Lost & Found items in the lower west hallway, scouring for personal items to TAKE HOME. It is most beneficial if the trip is on the way to your classrooms so they can put the item in their backpack right away.  Thank you.


Second grade did a wonderful job of putting their information together for our RtI data meeting.  When Catherine came to represent the team she was able to access the data from the server.  We were able to sort students according to intervention groups.  She identified who was on an I-Plan and who they were in the process of evaluating.  The data is color coded to show group movement of individual students.  Well done team.  It only took us till Christmas break to make this look like we are progressing!  We will get there together.

A few asked about Chips & Salsa.  I had not planned on it for this week thinking everyone would want to just start their break.  But since there is an interest we will aim for 3:45 or 4:00 at Jalapenos across from ShopKo in Nampa.  Hope you can join us!

Many wonderful treats were brought in for staff on Thursday.  The cooks provided hot cinnamon rolls, Little Leggs Day Care provided banana cake, Merrilyn brought caramel corn and cinnamon rolls, and Syringa Bank delivered a large Costco Sheet Cake.  We decided to put the sheet cake in the freezer and save it for our party on the 29th.  Now we need freezer space for the Christmas cake. 

Does anyone have room for it over the next week and a half?

The District Office Christmas gift is a memory stick for each of you.  We would like to simply remind you that when you use a memory stick or card take caution before removal.  If the stick is "lit up" then use the safely remove hardware icon located in the bottom right hand corner of your computer desktop near the clock.  Otherwise you risk causing disk errors that could make your data corrupt or irretrievable.

Reminders for Christmas break school closure procedures:

• Computer labs should unplug the power source from computers/monitors.
• Teachers/staff in classrooms to turn off all technology equipment
• Turn heat down in rooms to continuous unoccupied
• Secure windows and lower blinds
• Take personal items home
• Secure small electronic/expensive items
• Unplug unnecessary electrical items (microwaves, stereo, lights, Scentsy pots)

Sandy and Adam will split the weeks during Christmas break so that someone will be in the building each week of vacation (except Fridays).
