We will have our School Wide Positive Behavior Support assembly Tuesday morning, September 28th,  to launch the Gold Club and post card recognition programs.  Third through fifth grade will meet us at 9 AM and kindergarten through second grade at 10:15. We are creating a teacher information sheet for both incentive programs and an application form to be included with the Gold Club membership details.  We will also have the student videos depicting what respect looks like throughout the building. Please review with your class proper assembly etiquette.

I received a request for us to participate in October with a shoe drive benefiting the Boise Rescue Mission.  They are seeking new or gently used shoes.  Purple Sage participated last year.  It looks like a simple program with fliers to send home, containers for collection and bins are picked up as often as necessary.  Is there a class or grade level that would like to take this on?  It can run all month or just a portion.

Staff members have done a great job of turning in paper work even without official due dates, but it is now time to set some time lines for completion.  This looks like a lot, but most have been done already.
  • Policy section 400 form due October 1
  • Substitute Folders due October 1
  • Internet/Email Access form due October 1
  • Classroom Management Plans due October 1
  • Professional Goals due October 15
  • Long Range Plans by grade level October 15

  1. Do you have a class to work on the shoe project? I've got some girls who could take this on.
