Next Steps Training

Here is a brief report from Suzette regarding summer training.....
The two day workshop was like PLC time. We had a great time learning, talking, sharing ideas and trying to wrap our minds around what RTI might look like for us teachers in the classroom. We had many discussions about assessment data and quotidian activities for struggling readers and students in general. We received a great resource book and suggestions for many more resources. I think we would all agree, once again, that we already have a great amount of the pedagogy for the NEXT STEPS in place. We even managed a picture with the author of "Next Steps in Literacy Instruction", Deborah Glaser! Can't wait to share. I will now quit being so loquacious.
