Please review the policy on social networking sites. It has been revised slightly with stronger language replacing may not to will not be protected. The portion that concerns me most recently is the line on the second page that says, "Do NOT accept friend requests from students or their parents (from these social network sites)". In defining students one should consider beyond current students. I noticed over the past several weeks that many of you have befriended students who are friends of the family. Although these children probably know more about you than I do, they now have access to wall feeds and notifications from others. Please check your friend lists for parents or students. You can tell them that School District policy forbids you from being their friend on Facebook or other social networking sites. This gives you an easy way of saying no without you being the bad guy.
