Notice: the tech department will be doing some updates with the servers this weekend. We will have intermittent server loss Friday after school and throughout Saturday. This may effect you if you come in to work or access email from home.
You may want to be looking at grants and grant writing to add systems to your classroom such as new interactive microphone systems that will connect to your new speaker systems. There are also DVD players with tuners at $250 (great rate for system) that will enhance your classroom projector/speaker systems.
Printer/copier usage numbers are in. I will publish these numbers just as an FYI. Knowledge is power! If your copy number seems inaccurate please let me know. Remember the copier is much cheaper to use. Bonus you burn calories while retrieving documents sent to the copier.
Reports from the State are not encouraging as far as school financing for next school year. It is very important that we do all we can to save money and reduce costs where we can. This includes heating & cooling, printing costs, power usage with lights, personal refrigerators, substitute costs, etc. Average daily attendance is VERY important to school finance. Students need to want to be here and we need to disinfect to keep health issues to a minimum. All these little things add up big.
