As a result of collaborative efforts of staff, we would like a "do-over" for lunchroom expectation training. It was discovered that our students were not formally presented with lunchroom procedures. This collaboration group has revamped the rules to match our 3-R's & Love & Logic, planned procedures for greater efficiency and would now like the opportunity to instruct our entire school, students and staff. Monday is our launch date for new procedures. Therefore, Monday morning we have scheduled each grade level into a short lunchroom procedural presentation. Please bring your class at the designated time and stay to help with management, clarification and understanding. We would like lunchroom duty personnel to attend at least one of these trainings, and preferably all. They may need to adjust their schedules Monday in order to do this. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding.Notes of clarification for teachers:
1. Classroom teacher's 30-minute lunch begins at 11:45. If your class is brought to the lunchroom or playground prior to that, you are expected to help monitor and supervise.
2. Your 30-minute duty free lunch is over at 12:25 (yes I know the math works to your favor, although many of you take less than this for yourselves). Please meet your class promptly at 12:25.
3. Kindergarten, second & fourth grade students should wash their hands BEFORE coming to the lunchroom each day. Handwipes are to expidite the process for those students coming to lunch from the playground.
