Classroom Projectors

It appears that the new classroom projectors will be installed during Christmas break. There are a few items you will need to be aware of, and a few decisions you need to make first. These projectors (with speaker system) will be mounted in every classroom. They will have connections for VCR/DVD input. Eventually you may not want or need your TV in your room. Projectors will be permanent. We will mount them for a larger projection, but many of you have smaller screens. You may need to accommodate the larger projection by using your white board or hanging butcher paper of the appropriate size. We will add larger screens when possible. I need you to complete this form with your room information as soon as possible so that we can ascertain our upgrade needs.

Before leaving for Christmas, be sure to CLEARLY mark the spot you want your projector to project (screen placement) FOREVER. If you have a Smartboard that needs to be mounted, clearly mark that spot. All cabling will be run to a teacher station, most likely near your current desk placement.
