Lock Down Drill

This unannounced practice went well for the most part.  The building becomes so quiet it is hard to hurry through the checks.  :)
  • Some had to step out to lock their doors.  Remember to keep your doors locked even if you prop them open.  Then you only  have to shut.
  • If we are in lock down, lights should be off and everyone quiet.
  • If we are secured in place, lights may be on and instruction taking place, but no one should be in the halls.
  • Everyone who was missing a student was able to identify where the student should be.
  • If you have an EXTRA student in your room that you captured from hallways, please put a red and green slip under your door.  We were missing one student who was supposed to be in the bathroom.  They had secured into a classroom, but we didn't know due to the green card under the door.  (What we learn from doing the drill.)
