Congratulations and Thank You

Congratulations to all involved in Middleton in helping every school achieve at least a silver medal in the Healthier School Challenge.  The Middle School was the first middle school in Idaho to receive the gold medal.   Thank you to Barb Bumgardner for leading the application process which led to these awards.  A ceremony to acknowledge the Middle School and District achievements was held Tuesday afternoon.  Here is the link to the article on the SDE website.

Our silver medal status resulted in $1000 award split between the school and Food Service.  How can we best use these funds to advance the nutrition and health standards for our school?
