Core Knowledge Fair Planning

It has been suggested to come up with a new name or title for this special event for next year.  Keep that in mind as we go through the next week.  Here are the details that need to be considered or done this next week.

• We need 12 signs made to hang from the ceiling marking the halls into areas. Let me know if you can help with this.  Or if you know an artistic parent who might volunteer.
• Lise wants to run a dress rehearsal next Thursday during music classes.  We will need the stage set up all day limiting table space for lunch.  I have asked for the lunchroom to switch Wednesday and Thursday menus.  Thursday will now be sandwiches and items that can be bagged as a sack lunch to take to classrooms (rather than carrying stew through the halls).  Westend tables will not be available, eastend will.  If you are willing to have your class eat in your room, please let me know.  This mostly affects first lunch.
• Those of you that are renting costumes need to get to the Costume Shop and get items reserved.  Lise has volunteered to pick up and deliver for us.  Thank you Lise.
• Dessert may be served in the office area (across Yvonne's counter to a table in front).
• Sherry Young and her family will play music on the middle stairs.  This will help us naturally limit the traffic in this area. 
• Kindergarten will set up in library.  First grade in lower west hall.  Second grade in lower east hall.  Third grade in upper east hall.  Fourth grade in upper middle hall.  Fifth grade in upper west end.
• Displays should be left up until morning recess on Monday, March 21 allowing for grade level tours.
• Lise will post the schedule of performances.  We will also send home a parent note first of the week inviting families and providing times.
