School Leadership Team Notes

1. We discussed perceptions of RtI. I was gathering data to determine what you know or believe to be true about RtI.  There are some misconceptions I will work to clear up.
2. While on Green Recess, if students would rather line up for buses than play, it should be their choice.  It is their earned time.
3. Some students are being dismissed early for recess or end of day.  It is important that teachers go out with them until duty personnel are present.
4. Teachers asked about the Health curriculum.  The committee has not completed the compilation of our curriculum and kits.  Rebecca is working on getting this wrapped up. 
5. Please reteach students to maintain quiet hallways out of respect for other classrooms.  This needs to be reinforced when moving as a class or individually to library and bathrooms.  If adults are talking to each other, students feel greater freedom to talk.  Students also feel it is ok to talk to adults, yet this disrupts learning, also.
