We are working with Barnes & Noble to offer a unique book fair this spring. All sales in store, online or preordered (like a Scholastic book order) will benefit us through a percentage of sales. This even includes drinks and food. They will create a special Heights Hawks drink for our special event to help boost sales. More information will follow, but right now I need teachers to generate a list of literature you would like added to our library for your students or studies. Barnes & Noble will order these books now and have them available for patrons to purchase for us that day. It is a way for them to "gift a book" based upon our wishes. I need your wish list before the end of the week if you want it included.
Is this where I post my wish list? I'll give it a go and let me know if I'm in the wrong spot. I would love to have some more biographies on famous historical figures, including Revolutionary War people. I would also like to see more graphic novels and non-fiction books for kids in the intermediate grade. That's all for now! Kim
ReplyDeleteJeff Willheim's workshop offered a booklist in his bag of materials. Did anyone keep that stuff?
ReplyDeleteKim, Do you have any specific titles?
