M-CHAT stands for Middleton Coordinated Health Action Team. Members of this team represent a coordinated health effort on behalf of Mill Creek and Heights. PE/Health teachers, nurses, counselor, SRO, principals and teachers meet regularly to review policies, curriculum and schedules for health instruction. Last week we reviewed District policies and selected a few to bring to the attention of staff. I will post them here on the blog so that you can open and simply review. No need to print or memorize. This team is also working on a long range plan to determine timing of health curriculum to students. Members from this team will also represent our schools on the Health committee, helping with the Health curriculum adoption this year. Thank you Toni and Anna for volunteering to serve. Nicole, Cynthia, Merrilyn and Jay also sit on the M-CHAT committee.
